Ines mor til 1 lille nuser dreng, Værløse
When I was pregnant I was looking for a possibility to stay active but adapt my current sports routine to the pregnancy. Mehrnoush’s flyer draw my attention as it offered not only facilitated training during the pregnancy but also training support after giving birth and I could bring the baby with me.
During our first contact Mehrnoush not only showed that she is knowledgeable about the subject, she also showed that she really understands the circumstances I am in as a person. That gave me the confidence that she can offer training solutions that fit my day-to-day life and can help me to stay fit during pregnancy and get back on track after I gave birth.
Mehrnoush offers an individual training plan plus the possibility to integrate the training into my day-to-day routine. This also includes that I can bring the little one to the training and that the training is structured around the two of us.
In addition Mehrnoush is knowledgeable about the details when it comes to pelvic floor maintenance, pelvic floor recovery after birth and how to train when having a rectus diastasis.
I absolutely feel a change. The muscles that are prone to be neglected when doing sports but are so important that you stay healthy are back in my sports routine. The training also enabled me that when I am doing sports elsewhere I can incorporate these muscles even if those are not instructed in that particular training directly.
On a short term this pushed my back pain away that I started to have after birth due to the loss of my core stability. The training strengthened not only the muscles that were stressed by the pregnancy and birth, it is really a whole body training, so the body is enabled to take up its work again.
On a long run I already feel that the training is going to safeguard my other training so I can do long distance running again and can even go for a triathlon after birth without harming my body.
In addition I am so happy that the training also improved my rectus diastasis status so well. In the beginning I was really worried as my baby belly was quite huge, around 117 cm abdominal girth at the end of 9 month pregnant. Furthermore, the area around my navel was super sensitive after I gave birth. After 5 month the rectus diastasis status was so much improved that the area around my navel was not sensitive any longer and I could feel the muscle tension is coming back. Maybe that sound long for some people but as an old midwife saying reads, a baby belly growth nine month and also your body need at least 9 month to come back into shape. Moreover, I am quite sure I would not have come so far without the training.
Also, having the baby with me is really great on multiple aspects. On the one hand I do not need to think about a babysitter and on the other hand the child experiences that sport is a part of my lifestyle that we can share. In addition we spend time together even if I am doing the sport and the little one is “observing” the scene.
